Silonite-LL™ - Low-Level Air Monitoring
Silonite-LL™ is Entech’s latest coating advancement, developed specifically for the low-level analysis of airborne volatile compounds. Utilizing a refined ceramic deposition technique, Silonite-LL creates a lower surface area with substantially fewer active sites, ensuring more reliable results at extremely low concentrations. This improved design leads to faster and more thorough cleanup compared to prior generations of Silonite, making it ideal for compliance with today’s low-level EPA methods, such as TO-15A and EPA Method 327.
Faster Clean-Up: Silonite-LL canisters achieve superior cleanliness more efficiently, ensuring readiness for the most stringent air quality monitoring applications.
Reduced Contaminant Oxidation: The improved removal of contaminants reduces their potential breakdown into highly toxic compounds like Ethylene Oxide (EtO) and Acrolein over time, allowing these important target compounds to be monitored down to lower levels without a positive bias in the results.
Long-Term Stability: Silonite-LL provides the most inert Silonite surface yet, allowing maximum recovery after the long holding times required by TO-15A and Method 327.
