4600A Dynamic Dilutor

VOC analysis by GC and GC/MS systems require standards for instrument calibration.

The 4600A can blend up to five cylinders with a diluent gas for preparation of these calibration standards.

The 4600A operates through the SmartLab™ Control Network from a Windows® based PC.

Flow rates for desired concentrations are calculated using the Entech Standard Preparation (ESP) software. more...

Entech Standards Preperation Software (ESP)

The Entech ESP Windows Software provides support in preparing standards using Dynamic or Static Dilution. Static dilution allows standards to be made from neat compounds using syringe transfer into gas dilution bottles. The ESP software performs the involved calculation necessary to make complex mixtures at ppm or ppb levels.

Make PPB Level Standards using an intermediate glass dilution bottle

 

Make PPM Level Standards by direct injection of liquids into cylinder or canister

 

Avoid methanolic standards and eliminates large methanol peak which can attenuate response of MS

 

Allows methanol to be added to list of target compounds(1990 CAAA HAPS)

 

Make polar VOC mixture in water to prevent loss on surface of intermediate vessel
